Our time in France was coming to an end,
with not many days left until our departure, we decided to go back to the Les Gorges
du Toulourenc, but this time without the dog. It was already afternoon, meaning
we only had a couple of hours to explore the gorge, hoping to see all of it or
see some waterfall. Like in our previous trip there, the first part was quite easy,
but the deeper we went, the harder it became. Lots of boulders making it a bit
harder to advance quickly. At some point, D. decided he will run a bit to see if the
end of the gorge is that far away.
It was a bit weird to be left alone there, no people were around, and it was getting quite late. I did enjoy seeing the beautiful rays of the sun in the gorge, but I was worried that it gets very late and we will be stuck there.
There was no other way out, we had to go back all the way we came. D. did not find the end of the gorge, it seems it goes on for longer and maybe an entire day is needed to see it all, or maybe there is no end.
It was an interesting experience, walking
in the water, which also slows you down, but is definitely a place to visit.
