This blog post is about the second half of the Wasserweg. You can read the first part and check out the beautiful pictures here.
During the first hike, we did not manage to finish the entire hike. Hiking with older
people means sometimes slowing down, taking more breaks and enjoying nature
around you.
Although,
there is the possibility to drive somewhere to where the half hike would start,
this time we did the entire thing in one walk.
The path continues next to the stream until you reach a bigger waterfall. If you are lucky, you might have the waterfall all by yourself and not have to wait to take photos of this wonderful place.
After the waterfall, the path continues until the next village, where you can stop and have a snack. We didn’t really go until this restaurant or hut but instead stopped once we came out of the forest and just enjoyed the view and tried to pet a little pony. He did not seem impressed and wanted no pets, unfortunately.
Overall, I find this hike very beautiful, not too long. Most of the hike is in the forest, making it perfect for hot summer days and on top of all the fantastic views and waterfalls, is family- and dog-friendly.
