Ever since I moved to Germany, I've been constantly complaining about how boring the area is where I live, Darmstadt is really ugly compared to Graz. Luckily for me this year I have to travel 3 times back to Graz to finish something needed for my driving pass, so is just perfect as I get to meet my friends there and wonder why did I want to move away from such a beautiful city.
The trip this time was a small walk in the forest next to Rein Abbey, Steiermark, Austria. Rein Abbey is a wonderful Cistercian monastery founded in the 12 th century. If you hike in the forest next to this beautiful abbey, you will find one smaller church on the top of the hill and a chapel. There, we had a nice photo shooting for some LARP costume. I would say the place was just perfect to fulfil the purpose of our trip. On the way back we were greeted by more snow and a lovely afternoon light filling the forest.
