Today was a fine day for hiking, I was planning this trip
for a while now, so when the time came we went to Bärenschützklamm. It is a
lovely gorge, with many stairs and waterfalls. I’ve been here a few times before,
but I never get bored of it.
Today was the opening day and I naively thought that there
will be not that many people…well I was wrong, it was full, and a lot of waiting in
line to buy the tickets to walk through the gorge and more waiting to go through
the gorge.
After the gorge and a short break, we hiked further to
Hochlantsch, a lovely mountain with a height of 1720 m. The hike to this mountain
is never easy, is quite challenging especially if you are not hiking or being
sporty all the time.
But we did manage and was very happy.
On the way back, we had a quick stop at one of the mountain
huts and took our group photo.
And on the way down we saw some alpine ibex, unfortunately I
only have a good photo of its butt.
And some more waterfalls….
