Our third day in Barcelona, although it felt more like a
second day as the first day we mainly traveled there, we dedicated to seeing
many of Gaudi’s famous attractions.
We started again at the Arc de Triomph and photographed some
parrots. I find it amazing to see parrots in the city, I’ve never been to any
exotic places where you have parrots everywhere so seeing parrots in Spain for
me is something wow.
Walked a bit in the Parc de la Ciutadella and saw the beautiful
park’s fountain. This time we saw a mother duck with her ducklings.
Next stop was House Mila which looks amazing, then some more
interesting looking houses, not certain if they are also designed by Gaudi.
On our way to the La Singular restaurant, we’ve met another
cute dog.
The restaurant La Singular looks really nice inside and the food was
amazing.
From there we headed towards Park Güell. It is indeed a nice
park but extremely touristic, especially the area for which you need a ticket.
The other part of the park for which you don’t have to pay
is also worth seeing, you will have a wonderful view over the city and see some
beautiful houses.
On the way back to the city, we stopped to see the façade of
House Batlló, but was under maintenance.
Next stop was La Sagrada Familia and we decided to see it
only from the outside to avoid waiting in line and paying quite some money for
the ticket. The geometrical shaped scene of the crucifixion of Jesus presented
on one of the sides of La Sagrada Familia is quite fascinating.
The last thing we saw that day was a house of cats, not sure
if they have cats inside.
