For some time I wanted to see Milan, luckily I had the opportunity to join a conference on Pregnancy and Microbiota and visit the city a bit. The conference was amazing, so many great talks and discussions. I get to meet many new people and interact with some of the most known professors in the field. Overall, it was great. The city on the other hand was not so amazing. Many people say Milan is such a beautiful city. The architecture was beautiful, but way too many people and overcrowded, which I did not like, but being there with some colleagues I got the opportunity to get to know them better which was nice. I travelled together by bus with one of my collaborators on a project and it was great to talk to her more and get to know her better. We had lots of fun.
