A relaxing day in Barcelona

The last day in Barcelona was quite relaxing, no plans, just wondering through the streets of Barcelona and enjoying the city. One thing I like about cities in Spain is that you always find citrus trees on the streets and I often wonder if you can actually eat the oranges or whatever they might be. Another interesting thing we saw in the city was a skeleton dressed as a pharmacist, the idea is just brilliant to attract more tourists to your shop, I’ve seen something similar in Prague. Close to the cathedral in Barcelona you can also find some interesting metal sculptures. The only plan was to be a bit at the beach, I like seeing the sea and especially walked barefoot on the sand.

A day dedicated to Gaudi

Our third day in Barcelona, although it felt more like a second day as the first day we mainly traveled there, we dedicated to seeing many of Gaudi’s famous attractions. We started again at the Arc de Triomph and photographed some parrots. I find it amazing to see parrots in the city, I’ve never been to any exotic places where you have parrots everywhere so seeing parrots in Spain for me is something wow. Walked a bit in the Parc de la Ciutadella and saw the beautiful park’s fountain. This time we saw a mother duck with her ducklings. Next stop was House Mila which looks amazing, then some more interesting looking houses, not certain if they are also designed by Gaudi. On our way to the La Singular restaurant, we’ve met another cute dog.  The restaurant La Singular looks really nice inside and the food was amazing. From there we headed towards Park Güell.
