 I would like to end 2019 with a post about my furry and less furry friends.  This year, unfortunately, we have lost our lovely cat, Peppy, to kidney failure. We always thought he will live for many years, we are glad we had him for more than 10 years.  Peppy Now we only have one cat left, Fonfy, he looks as young as ever. Peppy and Fonfy Fonfy Later this year we rescued a lovely dog from a family who did not take proper care of the dog, meet Emir.  Emir Also, meet Grasu, the neighbour's cat who always comes visit.  For some time I wanted to see Milan, luckily I had the opportunity to join a conference on Pregnancy and Microbiota and visit the city a bit.  The conference was amazing, so many great talks and discussions. I get to meet many new people and interact with some of the most known professors in the field. Overall, it was great.  The city on the other hand was not so amazing. Many people say Milan is such a beautiful city. The architecture was beautiful, but way too many people and overcrowded, which I did not like, but being there with some colleagues I got the opportunity to get to know them better which was nice.  I travelled together by bus with one of my collaborators on a project and it was great to talk to her more and get to know her better. We had lots of fun. In the first night, we walked to the city to get craft beer from a very small craft beer shop, then we had a nice dinner together and stayed up late talking about every possible subject while enjoying the...

 The first time we went to Hochlantsch to try the via Ferrata route there, Irma could not join us, instead, someone else joined us. This time we took Irma with us right before her birthday to do again the same via ferrata.  As always it was quite busy, especially as the weather was beautiful and sunny.
